Question of the Day

Why can men go into store and buy a specific size of pants, EVERY TIME, but a woman can wear a size 2 at one store, and a size 8 at another store?

Because I don't ever want to buy a pair of pants according to my waist measurement! LOL!

The discrepancy between different clothes is hysterical, though. I have a pair of size 4 jeans that fit me. And today? I'm wearing a pair of 8s. They fit me the same. Although I like the 4s better. That's a nice number.

I go anywhere between 6 and 10 depending on the store. They just like to make shopping more work for us. :(

I think they just know men will not take the time to try stuff on and women will, LOL.

I hate vanity sizing. I frankly don't care what number it says on my jeans, and I hate having to order three different sizes from a catalogue because I can never be quite sure just what size will fit. It's ridiculous. I think you hit the nail on the head with your comment, Lori.

Because women care about the number on the tag, and men don't. So. Some brands like to make you feel thin. Some brands like to make you feel like a fat ass.

Your guess is as good as mine ;)
